It's time for another edition of your local crime blotter, pulled from daily updates provided by the SFPD.
And now, a sampling of criminal activity that's gone down in the Divisadero area in the past four weeks:
Family Altercation
Shortly after 6:30pm on January 21st, officers responded to an assault call on the 1700 block of Eddy. Once at the scene they were told by a couple that they'd been attacked by their son. The son was subsequently arrested.
Robbery With A Gun
On January 30th, SFPD responded to a call on Broderick and McAllister streets, shortly before 7pm. The victim was a male in his late 40s who was approached by two men, who pointed a handgun at him and demanded that he hand over his belongings. The victim refused, after which the suspects forcibly took his briefcase and jacket, which contained the victim's cell phone, tablet, checkbook. They left the scene on foot.
Robbery With Force
On February 6th, cops were called to the scene of Divisadero and Eddy streets in response to a violent theft. While riding the 31 bus, the victim asked the suspect to turn down his music. The suspect denied the request, which resulted in a verbal altercation. When the bus arrived at the Divisadero and Eddy intersection two men boarded, and were directed to the victim. They proceeded to punch the victim 10-15 times and steal his backpack before getting off the bus and fleeing the scene in a dark-colored station wagon.
Stabbing
At 3:15pm on February 11th, SFPD were called to the 1600 block of Turk Street, where a young man had been stabbed, and was suffering from various lacerations. He was admitted to San Francisco General Hospital, and was unwilling to cooperate with the investigation.
Hot Prowl
Around 4am on the night of February 15th, a thief entered a home on the 1500 block of Golden Gate Avenue through a sliding door. The victim awoke to a noise, and saw the thief exiting through the front of the building with her bicycle.
Violent Argument
Shortly after 7pm on February 17th, police were notified of a shooting near Eddy and Pierce streets. Once arriving on the scene they found a 55-year old man with a bloody mouth. Apparently he and a younger friend were drinking together and began to argue, resulting in the suspect punching the victim in the mouth and stealing his backpack, which contained his wallet, ID and medication. The victim left the scene but was pursued by the suspect, who shot at him with a semi-automatic weapon. The victim refused medical treatment.
