There's always so many events going on in the Castro that it's sometimes easy to miss a few. Here's a few things that we'd suggest you checking out this weekend. We've got a Triple Feature at the Castro Theatre, a Community Connection Fair at the LGBT Center, the Red Dress Ball at Lookout and Katya at Beaux.

Friday

Magnet: Photographer Dominic Garcia's work concerning the intimate relationships from his own life experiences will be on display. For Garcia, "there are many types of love, but what is true about all love, is that it is always evolving. Some love fade away whiles others quietly linger." Head on over to Magnet for this free event from 8pm-10pm.

Midnites For Maniacs: Jesse Hawthorne Ficks' monthly 'Midnites For Maniacs' Triple Feature is back at the Castro Theatre. This months theme, A Tribute To Penelope Spheeris, who will be in person for a Q & A, will screen The Decline of Western Civilization, Wayne's World and The Metal Years: Decline II.

Saturday

Independent Bookstore Day: California Bookstore Day has now expanded to Independent Bookstore Day. Stop by Books Inc. on Saturday for the festivities and meet Dave Eggers. You can let him help you with editing your dating profile from 2pm-4pm. Or if tea sipping and Tarot card reading is more your speed, stop by from 4pm-5pm for some tea and snacks and let Michelle Tea impart some of her wisdom upon you.

LGBT Center: The 3rd Annual AtmosQueer's Spring Fling LGBT Community Connection Fair takes place this Saturday at the LGBT Center. If you've been looking for more ways to be involved in the community this event will be a great opportunity for you to meet a variety of different community groups and "explore what our community has to offer and what you have to offer the community!"

Lookout: Have you always wanted to wear that red dress in your closest but never had the right occasion to wear it? Well you're in luck. The Lookout is hosting their 3rd Annual Red Dress Ball benefiting the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.  "Don your finest red gown and join Lookout for an evening of unparalleled gaiety! "

Sunday

Mission Dolores: If you've never stepped foot inside the beautiful Mission Dolores Church this Sunday will be the perfect opportunity for you to do so. The Golden Gate Men's Chorus will be performing their  Spring Program, The Coming of the Kingdom, featuring Handel's "Coronation Anthems." Tickets range from $10-$40 and the performance begins at 4pm.

Big Top Sundays: RuPaul's Drag Race Season 7 Contestant, and odds on finalist, Katya will be performing at "Big Top Sundays at Beaux."
