The weekend is finally here, and whether you've got plans or not, here are a few suggestions for things to check out in and around the neighborhood.

Friday, July 17th

Triple Feature: Jesse Hawthorne Fick's Midnites For Maniacs is returning to the Castro Theatre tonight with three great films from the '80s. This month's theme is "Driving Nowhere Fast," and the featured movies are The Road Warrior (with Mel Gibson as the original Mad Max), hitchhiking horror flick The Hitcher, and short film China Lake. Don't forget to arrive early for all the fun before the movies start, including the trailers. The Road Warrior starts at 7:20pm, and is immediately followed by The Watcher at 9:20. Stay late for China Lake at 11:30pm. A $12 ticket includes admission to all three films.

Willam Belli Drag Show: Season-four RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Willam Belli performs Saturday night at the Lookout. In addition to Drag Race, he's known as a former member of the drag-queen pop trio DWV, popular for their parody song "Boy Is A Bottom." Doors open at 9pm, with the show at midnight. There's a $10 cover at the door, and $20 VIP meet-and-greet tickets while supplies last.

Saturday, July 18th

Sing-Along Annie: Spend your Saturday afternoon at the Castro Theatre, singing along to the film version of Tony-winning musical Annie. (They'll be showing the original from the '80s, not last year's updated version with Jamie Foxx.) Sarah Moore and friends will guide attendees through such memorable songs as "Hard Knock Life" and "Tomorrow." Add to the fun by dressing up as your favorite character for the costume contest. The screenings will be held on Saturday at 1pm and Sunday at noon. Tickets are $16 general admission, $11 for kids and seniors.

Castro Country Club Drag Show: Mascara, the monthly drag show benefiting the Castro Country Club, takes place Saturday night at 10:30pm. The event will be hosted by Miss Castro Country Club 2015, Somoa That, who will be joined by some of "SF's best sober drag artists." Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Sunday, July 19th

AIDS Walk: The 10K AIDS Walk San Francisco takes place this Sunday in Golden Gate Park. This year's event will benefit Project Inform and "dozens of other organizations that work to stop new infections and support people living with HIV/AIDS." Last year alone, over 20,000 people raised more than $2.2 million for the cause. The walk begins at Sharon Meadows at 10:30am, with activities beforehand and a concert afterwards.
