Uva Enoteca, the Italian wine bar and restaurant at 568 Haight St., is adding something new to the menu: lunch.

Starting next week, Uva will debut a full lunch menu from 11am to 2pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

The new menu will include a $12 prix fixe option, featuring a green salad and either a margherita or salame pizza. There will also be a variety of $10 panini, and several pizzas, salads, and antipasti. Beverage options include Ritual and Stumptown coffee, sodas, and Uva's extensive wine list.

Co-owner Boris Nemchenok tells Hoodline that he'd been wanting to add lunch to Uva's lineup for a while.

"I have had many customers ask about lunch service," Nemchenok says, "and I feel like the Lower Haight is changing, where there is an increase in foot traffic. I also want to bring a new lunch option for folks working in the Lower Haight businesses and our neighbors, who might want a place to eat and perhaps do some work from."

Uva's lunch menu will also be available for delivery and take-out. For dining in, reservations are available on OpenTable.
