This afternoon from 2pm until 6pm, CrawlSF will host the 12th Annual Polk Street Bar Crawl. 

According to CrawlSF organizers, attendees can "expect $3 beers, $3 drinks, and upbeat crowds of people flowing in and out of the best bars in Russian Hill." Shanghai Kelly’s, Rouge, Cresta’s, Green’s, and The Buccaneer will be participating in the event again this year, and House Rules and Killer Shrimp will also be offering drink specials for their inaugural bar crawl on Polk.

The event will begin at Shanghai Kelly's (2064 Polk St, at Broadway) at 2pm, then will meander through the upper Polk neighborhood until 6pm.

CrawlSF has been organizing and promoting parties across the San Francisco Bay Area since 2003. Along with bar crawls, they also organize party buses, concerts, and Halloween and New Year's eve events. Previous bar crawls organized by CrawlSF have drawn more than 1,000 participants, and this year's turnout is expected to be about the same—or possibly even bigger.

To receive special drink discounts, you'll need to buy a ticket to the event for $10. Discounted rates on tickets are available for groups.
