A tree fell on the southbound lanes of Columbus Avenue between Filbert and Greenwich streets this morning, causing SFPD to close the entire road in both directions. "It fell on the bus wires so all 30 and 45 buses were backed up," wrote tipster John Kearney. SFPD was expected to have the area cleared and the road reopened sometime after 9am.
