Theresa Flandrich of the North Beach Tenants Committee, which has worked to help evicted renters, has been evicted herself. The San Francisco Chronicle covered her story, and today she posted a statement on the San Francisco Anti-Displacement Association's Facebook page. "I do not intend to disappear," she writes. "Instead, I intend to fight even harder to bring about the changes we need so that no one else will have to give up their homes to speculators and Ellis Act abusers."
