Perilla Vietnamese Restaurant Now Open In The Lower HaightPhoto: Jennie Butler / Hoodline

Perilla, a Vietnamese restaurant with two outposts in San Francisco, opened its third location today at 525 Haight St.

As we’ve previously reported, Perilla first opened in SoMa in 2008. After a year in business they expanded to the Inner Sunset. A third restaurant opened in the Outer Richmond in 2012, but closed a year later.

Perilla is the third restaurant to occupy 525 Haight St. in the last two years. The space was previously occupied by Ming Yao H, a Chinese restaurant that shuttered in November after just 5 months in business. Before Ming Yao H, there was Tandoor on Haight.

The new Perilla offers a variety of small dishes (spring rolls, salads and bahn mi sandwiches) priced from $7 - $11, as well as entrees (rice plates, soups and noodle dishes) between $10 and $13. You can check out the full menu here. There's also a grand opening special: banh mi sandwiches for just $5.

Perilla will be open every day from 10:30am-10pm, except Friday and Saturday, when the restaurant will close at 11pm.
