Just in time to take advantage of the San Fransummer, EPIC Steak at 369 The Embarcadero is opening an eight-seat patio bar come Tuesday. It'll be along the left side as you're looking at it from the Embarcadero, in an area that used to be a walkway.
Designed by Pat Kuleto, the bar will offer the same spectacular views of the water and Bay Bridge offered in the restaurant's existing 75-seat outdoor dining area along the Embarcadero just south of Rincon Park. The bar area can be used by guests waiting for tables and will also offer the full lunch and dinner menu; it'll serve the Quiver Bar menu from 2:30–5:30pm Monday–Friday.
According to a press release, the new outdoor bar will feature cocktails designed by beverage manager Nick Henry, who'll use "seasonal ingredients, house-made syrups and top-shelf spirits" (beer and wine will be available, too). The "3B's" special—bacon-cheddar Wagyu burger, Budweiser and a brownie—will be on offer for $20.
Hours for the new outdoor area will be 11:30am-9:30 Monday–Thursday and 11:30am–10pm Friday; it'll also be open 11am–2pm Saturday and Sunday for brunch, 5:30–10pm Saturday for dinner and 5:30–9:30pm Sunday for dinner.
