Tomorrow is the perfect time to check out Lower Haight's retail corridor, as the Lower Haight Art Walk returns with live DJs, mural paintings, in-store deals and ice cream mochi treats.

This go-round, the semi-annual event will take place in the afternoon. It's going to be a hot one, so come prepared with sunscreen and hydration.

Here's what to expect as you move up Haight Street:

Jazz group Strew Brew will perform near Webster and Haight.

Fifty24SF (218 Fillmore): Devolution, a group exhibition featuring the work of Tina Lugo, Benjamin Constantine, Smithe and Lauren YS, will be on display.

Wing Wings (422 Haight): La Sombra will be serving fresh juice.

Rooky Ricardo's (448 Haight): All regular priced 45s are $1 (they're usually $2).

D-Structure (520 Haight): A DJ will spin jams in the store.

Memphis Minnie's (576 Haight): The Lower Haight's favorite BBQ joint will offer Art Walk specials in honor of its 15th anniversary, including deep-fried prime rib, porchetta, Reuben egg rolls and bacon-wrapped corn dogs.

Just outside Memphis Minnie's, local artist Joker (who also painted the O'Looney's mural back in 2013) will paint a live mural on the front wall of the restaurant, and show neighbors how to do spray art on a large canvas set up near the mural.

Vinyl Dreams (593 Haight): All vinyl is 15% off, all weekend long

Life (604 Haight): Everything in the store is 10-50% off; kimonos and other accessories by local designer Sugarcane Inc. will be featured. At the register, patrons will be asked to choose one of three organizations providing aid to refugees (Save the Children, International Rescue Committee or MOAS). Life will donate 10 percent of their Art Walk sales to the organization with the most votes. Local contractor Victorian Painting and Restoration will match the total amount they raise.

Just outside Life, local chef Takeo Chiang will be serving up a Japanese-inspired creation: a koi-fish-shaped mochi cone filled with red bean and vanilla ice cream from Mitchell's. The whole thing is topped with dark chocolate Magic Shell, wasabi peas, white chocolate, white and brown toasted rice, roasted sesame seeds, whipped cream and a maraschino cherry. Each treat will be $5.50, plus tax.

Merch (629 Haight): Already-reduced items are an additional 30% off.

Cove (683 Haight): All plants are 15% off.

A bunch more spots are offering undisclosed specials. Maven, Nara, Nickie's, Uva Enoteca, and Raijin Sushi will have specials on food and drinks; Two Jacks Nik's Place and Cafe International will feature live music; Cafe du Soleil is holding a literary reading; and Underground SF is hosting an after-party (Update: those last two are from the Facebook event page, which we're told is inaccurate).

There's lots to explore, so we'll see you out there!

The Lower Haight Art Walk will be held tomorrow, Saturday, September 12th, from noon-5pm on Haight Street between Webster and Scott.
