Protesters left from Justin Herman Plaza this morning and are proceeding up Market Street with a mission to "shut down business as usual and highlight the connections between the climate crisis, capitalism, exploitation and oppression," and asking companies to stop funding fossil fuels. They've already shut down the Bank of the West headquarters, according to tweets; look for hashtags #floodthesystem and #fwsw. [Update: The Chron reports that about a dozen protesters were arrested.]
