Before diving into the neighborhood's wide selection of festivities this weekend, let's quickly review the week gone by.

First off, we learned that two neighborhood business association have rolled out the first SoMa Guide, with hopes of making it a little easier for residents and tourists alike to navigate this expansive neighborhood. With about 100 businesses featured, you're bound to stumble upon a copy next time your in the hood.

After two years on Folsom Street, Driftwood has a new trick up its sleeve. The bar has a new fall cocktail menu, a revamped interior and is hosting live music every Tuesday night. Read all about what's new right here before your next visit.

In the arts world, Root Division is thrilled about its new headquarters on Mission Street between seventh and eighth. Here's a sneak peek at their much bigger space and the details on their grand opening celebration tonight.
