Haight-related passages are dotting the neighborhood in a new twist on its literary past, which includes Joan Didion, Hunter S. Thompson, Tom Wolfe, Ken Kesey, and more. The flyer above, a Bharati Mukherjee quote, was found on the Booksmith (1644 Haight St.); a Wolfe quote has also been spotted at the corner of Haight and Ashbury, and a Chris Adrian quote was seen near Buena Vista Park.
