Yesterday around 3:30am, Revolver (136 Fillmore) fell victim to a break-in and burglary. The suspect, pictured below, reportedly smashed the front window and crawled into the boutique, only to be scared off by the alarm seconds later. He got away with a pair of pants and a purse.

Revolver's security cameras caught the whole incident. Here's a tweet from the boutique's owner, Robert Patterson:

According to Patterson, the police have a suspect in mind but will not share any information on the person in question.

A similar incident occurred a week ago just a few doors down at Upper Playground (220 Fillmore). According to the store's manager Kevin Brancato, a man threw a rock through the store's front window around midnight, and stole a boom box. Upper Playground caught the incident on camera but never reported it to police.

Revolver closed for two hours this afternoon to repair its window and install another security camera.

"Yes there is crime in the neighborhood, but we're very happy being here and so thankful to our loyal and supportive customers," said Patterson. "Hopefully our footage will help [police] track the criminal down."
