A fire broke out on the second floor of an apartment building at 35 15 Dolores St. late this afternoon.
Witnesses began reporting the fire shortly after 5:30pm today on the block of Dolores just south of Market Street — the same block where a 2-alarm fire broke out in April of last year.

As of 6pm, at least five fire trucks were on the scene, and firefighters could be seen drilling a hole on the roof and breaking windows from the inside. Police are blocking off eastbound Market Street to traffic.
We'll update this post with more details as we get them.
Update 6:20pm: The fire is now under control, according to SFFD command. Also, though the address of the fire was initially reported as 35 Dolores St., the correct location appears to be the adjacent 15 Dolores St.
