Today is the first Thursday of November, meaning it's once again time for the Lower Polk/Upper Tenderloin Art Walk and Open Late on Larkin. To make galavanting around the neighborhood even easier, here's a roundup of all the galleries launching new exhibitions from 6-10pm. Pop on some comfortable shoes and follow along:

Spoke Art, a gallery space specializing in new contemporary works, is launching “Innate Flux,” a solo show featuring the work of Dennis Brown (a.k.a. Bagger 43). Brown's collection will include ink-on-paper works as well as painted/glazed ceramics, pulling from influences like hip-hop music, comic books, graffiti, fashion and traditional Japanese culture.

The first 50 visitors to the show will receive a free print, so we recommend starting your jaunt here.

For those who can't make it tonight, the show will be on view Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10am-6pm, through Nov. 14th.

Tonight marks the opening of the exhibition "Second Nature," featuring artists Bessma Khalaf, Jacqueline Norheim, Steuart Pittman and Dan Swindel. All four artists are based in Oakland, and their works are inspired by "an innate pull to continually transcribe and further expand one's surroundings." More information on each artist is available here.

SMAart Gallery is hosting the opening reception for "RAD(ical) FUN(ctions)," featuring ceramics by artists Nicki Green of San Francisco and Caitlin Rose Sweet of NYC. As artists who consider themselves "too gay to function," their pieces explore the interactions between functional ceramics and queer bodies. Some of their works are "recognizable vessels," while others are much more abstract.

If you can't make it tonight, the show is open to the public Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11:30am-5:30pm, through Nov. 21st.

The apparel shop's latest exhibition, "Las Niñas: Taking the Bay Area by Storm," features four female artists: Lorena Castillo, Lindsey Lyons, Caitlin Mattisson and Sally Rodriguez.

Fleet Wood will also feature DJ Lisa Frankly and DJ Windee spinning vinyl records, beers from Pine Street Brewerysnacks from the Alfaro Catering Mexican food truck and the debut of a new children's line from StudioNico.
