SFMTA has revealed more details for transit plans before and after Super Bowl 50 (Jan. 23-Feb. 12), including a map of changes and reroutes. All Muni lines will operate except for the historic E-line streetcars, which will be halted; the F-line will still run from Fisherman's Wharf to the Ferry Building, but buses will be used for the route to the Castro.

Yesterday, the Chronicle outlined how the SFMTA hopes to avoid gridlock for the multi-week festivities near the foot of Market and Moscone Center. Today, the Examiner reports that Muni could have to cover costs associated with adding and rerouting service, as discussed at yesterday's SFMTA board meeting. There are currently no plans for the Super Bowl 50 Committee to refund SFMTA for its efforts around the event.
