The FiDi and Union Square love to get gussied up for the holidays.

There are incredible fir trees, giant baubles and walls draped with lights. The San Francisco Marriott Marquis is hosting a gingerbread house competition, and the Westin St. Francis boasts an incredible 12-foot rotating "enchanted sugar castle" with more than 1,000 pieces of candy, made by executive pastry chef Jean-Francois Houdré and his team. Even the cable cars and historic streetcars get into the spirit.

Take a tour of some of the sparkle and shimmer. And if you have other favorites we missed, be sure to leave them in the comments for others to see and enjoy. Happy holidays!
