Two SFPD officers sustained minor injuries on Wednesday night, when they were struck by a man driving a stolen car at La Playa and Great Highway.

The two officers were hit while attempting to pull over the suspect, who was driving a stolen gray 1990 Honda Civic with four doors, around 10:50pm on January 13th. According to SFPD spokesman Albie Esparza, the suspect drove into the officers as they approached the car.

The SFPD pursued the suspect, assisted by the Daly City Police Department and the California Highway Patrol, but were eluded. The two officers sustained cuts, scrapes, and bruises, but were otherwise unharmed.
