The longstanding Chong's Barber & Beauty Shop at 1335 Grant Ave. has closed, and its building—which includes the adjacent Alfa Laundromat—is for lease. We called the number on the "for lease" sign; the respondent (who declined to provide his name) says he's fielding calls about both of the spaces, and isn't sure what will be coming for the neighborhood.
