A sinkhole that opened at 24th and Church in Noe Valley on Thursday is continuing to snarl the J-Church, which has switched to bus service at all aboveground stops, beginning at Church and Duboce on outbound trains.
The bus switch, expected to end yesterday, has continued into today; it's unclear when repairs to the sinkhole, caused by a busted sewer line and originally set for completion yesterday, will be finished.
Update, 9:09am: The sinkhole was repaired late Saturday afternoon, with J-Church trains resuming service around 6:30pm.
