With a short week nearly halfway through, it's time again to think about the weekend that lies ahead.
Tonight, two transgender performers are flying in to help raise money for the Center for Sex & Culture with an evening of story-telling. Tomorrow is Third Thursday in Yerba Buena, meaning free admission to many of the neighborhood's museums and cultural institutions. Among the many attractions this month are a collaboration by the Cartoon Art Museum and American Bookbinders Museum for an evening of historical trivia and live sketching, and the Contemporary Jewish Museum's hosting of a live show by San Geronimo, an Americana band out of Marin.
