Another gorgeous weekend is on the horizon, and we have a few ideas on how to spend it right.
If you're looking for a good laugh after a long week, you're sure to find one at SoMa StrEat Food on Saturday night, when RoastSF takes on Donald Trump. Eight insult comics will all get their chance to take on the Republican frontrunner, and while The Donald won't be present, he'll be played by "a top-notch improv actor who has literally spent his entire life being a dick."
For those looking for something a little more relaxing, Burning Man camp Disco Chateau is dusting off its giant pile of giant teddy bears for a big cuddle puddle down at urban winery Tank18. From 8pm-5am, you can fill up on snuggles, bass and snacks. Pajamas are encouraged.
Come Sunday, Driftwood is rolling out the red carpet for a grand Oscars viewing party. You can also skip the charade and meet the lovely ladies of the latest season of "RuPaul’s Drag Race" at Mezzanine.
Looking forward to next week, the quarterly Local Sirens show by the Women's Audio Mission returns to Monarch next Tuesday evening. The free show features Bay Area performers Pamela Z and Hi Scores.
Read on for a few more event highlights for the week to come. And don't forget, you can always find upcoming events citywide at hoodline.com/events, or submit your own here to be included in our next roundup.
