Yes, the obvious question would be to wonder why there are draws hanging from a fence. Honestly, after the first gaze at the undergarments, my initial thought was, “These draws are old.” It’s not because they’re dirty draws — drawers if you’re fancy — but because MAD TV ended in 2009 which was also the year I joined Twitter, the year Barack Obama was inaugurated as the 44th President of the United States, the year Kanye West ambushed Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the MTV Awards and the year Beyonce released ‘Single Ladies' which provided a theme song for singleness giving individuals extra sass and confidence when asking for what they want in a relationship as well as some snazzy dance moves. It was also the year we lost pop icon Michael Jackson and actor Patrick Swayze.
Filled with highs and lows, 2009 wasn’t such a bad year. There’s nothing like unmentionables to put you in a nostalgic mood.
