As we reported previously, the McDonald's at 235 Front St. (between Sacramento and California streets) is temporarily closing to relaunch as the city's third "Create Your Taste" location, offering a variety of customizable burgers and other sandwiches that can be ordered via a touchscreen.

A sign in the window says the restaurant will officially close this Friday, March 11th, undergoing an extensive 6–8 week remodel "to bring you a beautiful new facility."

In the meantime, McDonald's fans can visit the locations at 575 Market St. and 441 Sutter St., the latter of which became the first Create Your Taste location in northern California when it reopened in spring 2015.
