In the Inner Sunset, property crimes are the most common offenses; vehicle thefts, break-ins and hot prowl burglaries occur frequently, much to the frustration of district residents.

If you've got questions or concerns about crime in the neighborhood, the Sunset Heights Association of Responsible People (SHARP) is holding an open house on Monday, March 28th with District Attorney George Gascón and representatives from Park and Taraval stations. Organizers encourage attendees to "bring your respectful, pointed, well-informed questions."
