Me So Hungry Food Truck Becomes A Monday Night Regular At MadronePhoto: R. A. Schuetz/Hoodline

Eagle-eyed locals may have noticed that the Me So Hungry food truck, known for its sweet potato fries and rotating selection of sliders, has been hanging out quite a bit outside Madrone Art Bar on the corner of Fell and Divisadero. So naturally, we asked them if it’s going to become a regular spot.

In great news for fans of food truck fare, the answer is yes. According to Me So Hungry driver Mark Padia and Madrone owner Michael "Spike" Krouse, who has given the food truck permission to park outside, it has been frequenting the corner for the weekly Motown on Mondays for a little over a month, and intends to continue doing so.

For now, Me So Hungry is coming early in the evening to snag parking—yesterday we saw them at 5:30pm. However, Padia said that business has taken off so much that the company is applying for a permit to reserve a spot on the corner, next to the new bike corral.

Padia said the truck stays open as long as people are hungry—so the next Monday you have those late-night munchies, you know where to go. (Check out the current menu here.)
