It's Friday, we all weathered the sneak mid-week heat wave (maybe with the aid of the refreshed Ben & Jerry's), and it's time to gear up for the weekend and the week ahead.
For those of you who were wondering, that new Pax mural on the side of Cole Street Smoke Shop, which debuted a couple of weeks ago and is possibly a renegade billboard, is definitely not sponsored by Pax headquarters.
According to Pax marketing representative Ashley Marand, "the mural in the Haight Ashbury is not approved or contracted by PAX." Cole Street Smoke Shop also denies involvement.
Now, on to your upcoming events in the neighborhood. Whether you want to help beautify your local park, just grab a six-pack and go sit in it, or avoid the forecasted smattering of rain with some indoor activities, here are the Upper Haight events to get excited about for the weekend and beyond.
