Pop-up art group Hayes Valley Art Works, which is temporarily occupying Parcel O until it becomes low-income housing, has put out a call for artists for its upcoming show, New Quarters. A shipping container installed on the Parcel O lot can accommodate smaller works, while bigger, weatherproof installations can be set up outside, in the lot's 38,500 square foot space.
Interested artists are asked to submit up to five images of work in any medium by Saturday, May 7th. The works chosen will be on exhibit from May 21st through July 1st.
