If you're planning to travel through SoMa within the next 24 hours, brace yourself. President Obama is crashing in the neighborhood tonight, and that means detours and traffic delays should be expected.

According to the Chron and ABC7President Obama is attending the Global Entrepreneurship Summit at Stanford tomorrow, where he'll be doing a Facebook Live chat with Mark Zuckerberg. But first, he plans to stay the night in San Francisco.

Per usual, Obama's staying at the InterContinental Hotel, which means that from this afternoon through mid-day tomorrow, Fifth Street will be closed to traffic from Mission to Folsom, with Howard Street also closed from Fourth to Fifth. Traffic on surrounding blocks will be impacted.

Because of the street closures, the SFMTA has also announced that the outbound 8/AX/8BX, inbound and outbound 27, and the inbound 30/45 buses will be re-routed through tomorrow afternoon.
