If you're looking for work or know someone who is, there are a bunch of options in North Beach. We've noticed a smattering of signs in neighborhood windows lately advertising for help, and we see several openings on Craigslist, too.
Here are several for which we have more details. Happy job hunting!

Buster's is looking for a cashier from 6:30pm–2:30am, either part-time or full-time, and not much experience is necessary (though patience is probably a virtue, given the late-night hours).

A sign on the window says Therapy is looking for team players who are passionate about working in the retail industry and can demonstrate an ability to develop customers relationships. Compensation: $15/hour, negotiable depending on experience
We reported that this local fish wholesaler—run by North Beach locals Joe and Andi Conte—planned to open in the spring in the former Original U.S. Restaurant location at 515 Columbus Ave., so this Craigslist ad for a delivery driver and packer could be a sign things are coming soon. (We reached out to the owners to ask, but didn't hear back by deadline.)
