The SFPD is investigating two fatal shootings in the Tenderloin and Mission over the weekend.

The first shooting occurred just after 11pm on Friday, July 1st, on the 300 block of Leavenworth Street. One male victim was transferred to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

[Update, 2:55pm 7/5] The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Christopher Porche of San Francisco, the Chronicle reports.

At 11:44pm the same night, another man was shot and killed at 24th and Shotwell. He was also pronounced dead at the hospital.

According to the SFPD, both homicide investigations are ongoing and no further details are available at this time.
