In the wake of last night's Black Lives Matter protest, a second protest is unfolding downtown.

Protesters marching against police brutality in the wake of the deaths of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile began their march at Fifth and Bryant streets, where they blocked the I-80 on-ramp, forcing CHP officers to close it temporarily.

The protest then headed up Fifth Street to Market, where it blocked cars and Muni service for approximately half an hour before continuing onward to Market and Third streets. Protesters then marched down Third Street, and are currently heading east on Howard Street.

Here are some scenes from the protest on social media:

Update, 4:38pm: The demonstration is now blocking the Bay Bridge on-ramp at Folsom and Essex streets.

Update, 6:21pm: Protesters are currently blocking the Fremont Street off-ramp from the Bay Bridge to San Francisco, backing up westbound traffic.

Update, 7:34pm: The Fremont Street ramp closure ended around 6:15pm, as police ordered the crowd to disperse. The group then marched peacefully through the Financial District to Justin Herman Plaza.
