Have strong feelings about the Bay Area Bike Share program's plans for new stations South of Market?

At 6pm and 7pm tonight, Bay Area Bike Share and District 6 Supervisor Jane Kim's office are hosting two community workshops at Gene Friend Recreation Center (270 6th St.) to gather feedback on expansion plans—for western SoMa, in particular.

Based on feedback submitted through its website and at a previous District 6 community meeting last year, the regional bike share service—which aims to expand from 450 bikes in San Francisco to more than 4,500 within the next two years—released the following map of proposed new locations in SoMa and the Tenderloin earlier this year:

Those who can't make the meeting tonight can still suggest new station locations online.
