Saturday-Sunday: 2016 Annual Dahlia Show
This weekend, the Dahlia Society of California is hosting its annual two-day expo inside Golden Gate Park's Hall of Flowers, also known as the San Francisco County Fair Building. Saturday's session runs from 10-5 pm; on Sunday, the show will run from 10-4pm.
Attendees will be able to browse prized specimens of San Francisco's official flower, presented by members of the Dahlia Society. Each exhibit will be classified and judged, which means every bud, leaf and flower on display represents the very best of the species, which is also related to the sunflower and daisy.
