Did you notice the film crews around Buena Vista West and Java Street yesterday? The street closures and “police presence,” as noted by neighbors on Nextdoor, were due to the filming of a car chase scene for Hulu's new San Francisco-set series Chance

Today, tipster @SFCitizen informed us that production vehicles are lined up on Fell and Baker streets, which is serving as the base camp for Chance’s shoot on Page and Masonic. According to the SF Film Commission, today’s shoot on Page Street is only taking place in an interior location, and there are no street closures. The filming should go until 10pm tonight.

A representative at the SF Film Commission told Hoodline that today’s shoot in should be the last one in the area for Chance this week; after that, they'll head back to their base camp at an “undisclosed location.”

Chance, which stars Hugh Laurie as a troubled neuropsychiatrist, will premiere on Hulu on October 19th. The show has been filming around the city since April, with stops in North BeachJackson Square, the Tenderloin, and at UN Plaza
