This weekend, the forecast will have you wearing layers, as fog sweeps in one day, and sun the next. Fickle weather aside, this weekend is a busy one for Outer Sunset residents.
Start off your weekend with the California Coastal Cleanup Day with the Surfrider Foundation. This annual event brings out communities all over the Golden State to keep our coasts clean.
Saturday also sees the annual Sunset Community Festival at the West Sunset Playground. Now in its 22nd year, this fun family event includes live performances, wine and beer tasting, food trucks, and even electric car test drives. And for your shopping delight, Sunset Mercantile is bringing local vendors and artisans together all in one place for the community.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by life during the bustling fall season, head over to Sivananda Yoga Center, which is hosting a full-day retreat with yoga classes, meditation, and vegetarian meals.
Tuesday will be the monthly Taraval Station community meeting with the SFPD. At this meeting, former D4 Supervisor and current Assessor-Recorder Carmen Chu will be speaking.
Here are all the events coming up this week in the Outer Sunset. For more fun around the city, check out our full events calendar at hoodline.com/events. If you have an event you'd like to add to our calendar, you can submit it here for free.
