This weekend, the scariest thing you might see is a soggy ghost, as wet weather continues to make its way into the Bay Area. But even rain can't keep Halloween, ArtSpan's Open Studios and more away from the Outer Sunset.
To be on the safe side, check with organizers for weather-related plans and cancellations before heading out. Some events have already made rain plans, including Movies at McCoppin's final screening of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which will include appearances from actors in the series. It's now being shown at Dianne Feinstein Elementary.
Other highlights this Halloween weekend include Scaregrove at Stern Grove, which features costume contests and haunted houses. The San Francisco Zoo is hosting Boo at the Zoo, a fun family event with trick-or-treat stations and (real) creepy crawlers. For adults, the newly reopened Riptide Bar is hosting their first official party all weekend since rising again from the dead.
If you want to get away from ghosts and ghoulies, head out for Open Studios in the Sunset. This weekend, local artists around the district will be welcoming art lovers interested in exploring the stories behind the art.
Here are all the events coming up this week in the Outer Sunset. For more fun around the city, check out our full events calendar at hoodline.com/events. If you have an event you'd like to add to our calendar, you can submit it here for free.
