In the wake of the election, it's been a tough week for many in San Francisco. With that in mind, here are a few events to help Outer Sunset residents relax, get away from the internet, and reconnect with their community.

On Saturday, head over to Far Out Gallery for their newest exhibition opening. Owner and painter Anne Herbst and Mamade Kadreebux have teamed up for an exhibit exploring reality and dreams, through a combination of photographs and paintings.

As part of the Made in SF programs at the Ortega and Parkside branches of the SFPL this week, craft-loving kids and families will have their pick of making Rube Goldberg machines, seal masks, or origami stars.

Sunday will be a great day to work off stress with a variety of outdoor exercise events. Playland at 43rd Avenue is hosting its weekly Sunday bootcamp and community yoga classes—both of which are free. For those who prefer to run, the Dolphin South End Runners are holding two races in one on Sunday morning: a 1M and a 5K race.

And since community involvement remains as important as ever, remember that the monthly SFPD Taraval Station community meeting will be happening on Tuesday night.

Here are all the events coming up this week in the Outer Sunset. For more fun around the city, check out our full events calendar at hoodline.com/events. If you have an event you'd like to add to our calendar, you can submit it here for free.
