It's been a long week, and we think it's safe to say that some of you are looking for some diversion this weekend. Luckily, there are a handful of fun events happening up and down the Divisadero corridor that might help you take your mind off of...well, you know.

First up, swing by the SF Skate Club Hub (635 Divisadero) from 7-11pm tonight and check out the Lookback Library for a healthy dose of skateboarding history. The popular skate shop and youth center will be displaying hundreds of classic skating magazines for you to peruse. They'll also show VHS skating videos and host a trivia night with prizes brought to you by Ace Trucks.

On both Friday and Saturday nights, The Indy (628 Divisadero) will be home to a collection of Bay Area groups paying tribute to Björk's Homogenic. The shows, put on by UnderCover Presents, cost $23 in advance and $28 at the door. The music starts at 8:30pm.

Of course, a weekend roundup wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Madrone. From 6-9pm tonight you can catch the rock n' roll piano meanderings of DJ Leibowitz, and stay for Yo Mama, the monthly weekend edition of the uber-popular Motown On Mondays party. Remember, there's a $5 cover after 10pm.

If you're looking for a change of pace this Saturday, head over to Kava Lounge on McAllister and Divisadero for Art of Yurik: Epic Art Party from 3pm-1am. According to his bio, Yurik Riegel's work "speaks of the teachings of the Buddha, David Deida, Ray Kurtzweil, Deepak Chopra, Ekhart Tolle, and many other great thinkers." Admission is free, and Kava Lounge will provide a free glass of  "Sexy Love Potion" to everyone who swings by.
