An 18-year-old man was killed in broad daylight at Plymouth and Broad streets in Oceanview on Friday afternoon, in what police are calling a homicide. 

The incident occurred at 4:36pm on Friday, when the 18-year-old was found dead of a gunshot wound. Police are seeking a male suspect of unidentified age, who is believed to have committed the crime with a handgun. 

Police have released few other details about the case, which remains under investigation. We'll update if and when we learn more. 

Update, 2:27pm: According to the Examiner, the victim is 18-year-old San Francisco resident Josiah Lightfoot.
