There are plenty of reasons to get outside and celebrate the changing of the seasons during the next few days around San Francisco.
Last weekend was just a tease of St. Patrick's Day events compared to this weekend's jam-packed schedule, which includes pub crawls, block parties, walking tours, concerts, silent discos and even exercise-themed experiences in honor of Ireland's patron saint.
If you prefer to go green in other ways, there's also an Arbor Day Eco Fair in the Dogpatch on Saturday, and the city's first avocado festival on Sunday in Mission Bay.
Finally, former SF Mayor Willie Brown will talk local and national politics at a free event at Grace Cathedral on Sunday morning.
Here's your roundup for the busy days ahead:
Friday, March 17th
Saturday, March 18th
Sunday, March 19th
