The Powell Street cable car line experienced delays this evening after a collision between a cable car and a vehicle—which appears to be a Tesla, based on Twitter photos from the scene.

The SF Fire Department confirmed that the collision occurred at Powell and Sutter streets shortly before 5pm. No injuries were reported, and it remains unclear who was at fault.
The incident caused delays on the cable car line, and SFMTA has been running bus shuttles.
