Glen Park sushi lovers may have been dismayed with Tataki Canyon’s closure earlier this year, but there's good news: Another sushi bar called Tekka House has recently opened in the same location at 678 Chenery St.

Thus far, there are only a few Yelp reviews, but the feedback is relatively positive. “Cool place, good vibe and the chef clearly knows what he's doing,” wrote Siddharth. “They have craft beers from Japan, not just the usual Sapporo/Asahi duo. Along with some excellent ramen.” Another Yelper, Zika, added that Tekka House “is promising with a decent menu and a very nice waitstaff.”

Tekka House's menu may have a full page of nigiri, sashimi and roll options, but the new restaurant also boasts an array of ramen selections (including a super spicy dish called Volcano Ramen).
