As we mentioned over the weekend, muralist Apexer is in the process of installing a new Summer of Love-inspired mural on Masonic at Haight. Originally slated to be wrapped up last weekend, it's now close to completion.

The mural reads "The Summer of Love Experience"—a moniker it shares with de Young Museum's newest exhibit, which debuts April 8th. The museum commissioned Apexer, who was also behind the previous mural at the corner, to create a new piece in honor of this year's 50th anniversary of the event.
