San Francisco May Day protestors got things started this morning at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office (630 Sansome St.), where demonstrators—including teachers, students and the Brass Liberation Orchestra—have reportedly blocked off all of the entrances where buses carrying deportees enter and exit.

Here are some scenes from the "Shut It Down" gathering:

International Workers' Day demonstrations are now heading towards Justin Herman Plaza, along the Embarcadero. We'll keep you updated.

Update, 10:45am: Protesters are making their way to the next rally.

Update, 12:20pm: Thousands of marchers are making their way from Justin Herman Plaza towards City Hall.

Today's marches are affecting transit along Market Street, and SFMTA is reportedly rerouting a number of streetcar and bus lines.

Update, 1:25pm: Marchers are on the move between Justin Herman Plaza and City Hall.
