Get ready to celebrate this weekend with great food, fun festivals and of course, fireworks lighting up the night sky.

Kick off the long weekend on Friday with a special cask beer event at the Anchor Brewing beer garden, then walk around the corner to AT&T Park and enjoy a free performance of Mozart's Don Giovanni at AT&T Park from San Francisco Opera.

On Saturday, the Fillmore Jazz Festival returns, as does the San Francisco Oysterfest Music Festival in Golden Gate Park.

This year, July 4th falls on a Tuesday, and festivities include a free concert in Golden Gate Park, a pub crawl/hot dog eating contest and the traditional fireworks show at Pier 39.
