A 29-year-old man has been seriously injured i an early morning attack, said police.

The victim was walking near 25th and Mission streets at 3:15am this morning. He was stabbed with an unknown weapon from behind by another man, believed to be in his early 20s. 

The suspect fled after he stabbed the victim. The victim then sat down until an ambulance arrived and was taken to the hospital. His injuries from the attack have left him in life-threatening condition.
