Here's an overview of notable incidents reported around the Castro since our last crime roundup

All reports are listed in chronological order and come from the SFPD's daily crime recaps, unless otherwise noted.

Car Ride Ends In Knifepoint Robbery

On June 30th at 11:57pm, a man, 25-30, offered a 23-year-old man a car ride.

When the car eventually stopped near 15th and Landers, the driver pulled out a knife and demanded the victim's property. The victim complied and exited the vehicle. The suspect fled in the vehicle with the victim's wallet. No arrest has been made.

Woman Robbed In Dolores Park At Gunpoint

At 7pm on July 1st, a 25-year-old woman was sitting in Dolores Park with her boyfriend when two other men, 18-20, approached. One of the suspects brandished a gun and stole the woman's purse and wallet. He put the gun in the purse and handed it to his companion.

Both suspects then fled in different directions. One suspect was later arrested. Police have recovered the gun and purse.

Man Mugged For Camera At Church & Duboce

At 6:12pm on July 4th, a 50-year-old man was near Church and Duboce when a 30-year-old man pushed him to the ground and stole his camera. The suspect fled to an awaiting vehicle. No arrest has been made.

Man, Woman Robbed At Gunpoint In Dolores Park

Another Dolores Park-area robbery at gunpoint occurred early on July 6th at 1:15am. Two victims, a 25-year-old woman and 22-year-old man, were approached by two male suspects in their 20s.

The suspects attempted to take the victim's purse. After a struggle, both suspects brandished handguns, and the victims then complied with their demands. The suspects fled on foot with the victims' purse, passport, phone, tablet, and cards.

Hot Prowler Burglarizes Castro Woman

Also on the 9th, a 45-year-old woman was the victim of a hot prowl burglary near Eureka and 20th. She was awoken by a sound at 3:30am.

Upon waking again at 6am, she found that an unknown suspect had gone through her belongings and stolen a bag containing a laptop, wallet, license, money and social security card. No arrest has been made.

Man Hospitalized After Dolores Park Stabbing

Later on the 9th, at 4:34pm, a fight broke out in Dolores Park. One person involved in the fight, a 20-year-old man, was stabbed by an unknown suspect.

The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No arrest has been made.
