
Looking to chow down on some Mediterranean fare? A new spot has you covered. Called Pine Mediterranean Cuisine, the newcomer is located downtown at 16 W Flagler St.
A family-owned business boasting a robust menu full of Lebanese flavors, Pine offers traditional Mediterranean wraps, sandwiches and platters, such as chicken shawarma, falafel and tabbouleh. There's also a dessert menu with items like pistachio baklava and maamoul. (See the full menu here.)
With a 4.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp so far, the new arrival has been warmly received by patrons.
Ayi N., who was among the first Yelpers to review the new spot on July 11th, said: "Welcome to the neighborhood Pine! This most recent visit was probably about my 4th since they opened a few weeks ago and the food keeps getting better."
Yelper Charlie S. added: “I tried Pine Mediterranean they day it opened. I thought my lunch was great. I had the falafel platter - falafel (five or so individual pieces), pita, and and choice of three sides."
And Sam M. said: "Great authentic food, fantastic service and very friendly staff. The Chicken Tawook (Grilled Chicken) was awesome and the Falafel was great and super fresh."
